Due to COVID, we had to cancel the in-person Winter Reunion. HOWEVER, we have come up with a winter game to keep you moving! Bingo anyone?
Below is the Bingo Card and a letter with instructions on how to play. If you did not receive this via email, please reach out to us at email@example.com and we will send this to you. We cannot wait to see your creativity at work and completed Bingo cards!
Remember: To win Bingo you can do the activities in the 4 corners, down a column, across a row or the diagonals.
The IHJ Team felt that this was the perfect time to present a new look. We kept he same core logo, but added color (Blue, Orange, Green) to signify the three divisions of Triathlon (Blue = Swim, Orange = Bike, Green = Run). As the program and number of girls involved continues to grow in numbers, so will the use of the colors.
Giving Tuesday is December 1, 2020 in Omaha, however, you can start giving now! The IHJ Board, participating girls and volunteers want to thank you for your support and donation. Without a giving community and your donation, we could not impact and serve these young ladies. Please encourage others to support our cause as we prepare to make a safe environment and program this coming Summer!

Before Ironhawk, Hailey was scared to ride her bike down the sidewalk, let alone her family’s driveway. She was anxious to swim in the deep end and she would have never thought to go jogging.
When her parents signed Hailey up for the triathlon and explained to her what it was and what it meant, she seemed interested and curious. She will be the first in her family to do a triathlon and that means something to her.
Hailey’s twin brother had major leg lengthening surgery last summer. She has been very supportive through it all, but she was in need something to fill HER bucket! Ironhawk practices would force her to step way outside of her comfort zone… but she did it! The ways in which Hailey has grown in the last month are astounding!
The girl who wouldn’t ride her bike just a month ago is now getting up every morning and riding 3 miles AND jogging 3/4 mile. The girl who has dealt with anxiety is now able to cope better and is feeling more confident in herself. And most importantly, she is proud of her accomplishments so far.
Ironhawk Juniors has made Hailey realize that she can push herself and achieve great things. She has been an inspiration to her family as well, and has taught them that it is okay to feel scared when pushed and through change, it’s how you persevere that matters!
Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon Club is a free, summer triathlon training program for girls ages 8-14 that culminates with a triathlon.
What this means is that girls ages 8-14 from the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area are invited to participant in our 8-week training program where they are taught the skill sets of swimming, biking and running. At the end of this 8-week program, the girls participate in their very own triathlon – some becoming a first time triathlete!
Registration closes Monday, May 13, 2019. Sign up now!
